I don't know if it's a bug with my installation or the port in general, but the spanish subtitles (either latam and eu) don't work; very few lines of dialogue are translated. I suppose the only option is still to use JoiPlay. Even so, it's obviously a great job; the game itself runs perfectly.

Based on your setup, there are two main reasons why the game might be crashing at the Ren'Py loading screen
CrDroid A16 is a custom ROM, and certain custom ROMs lack specific graphics drivers, codecs, or dependencies needed by Ren'Py, which can cause loading crashes even on powerful hardware like the Snapdragon 870.
If you downloaded the game file from an external site rather than the official page, the build might be corrupted or tampered with.
Please ensure you are using the official download link from this site. If the issue persists on the official build, it is likely due to the custom ROM's environment not supporting the game engine properly.
It seems I've found the cause. I also tried an other Ren'py port and found in the log permission issues. What resolved the bug was manually creating the Android/data app folder. Though these ports were the only apps where I experienced this issue.
